Ephesus Junior Academy opened its doors over 60 years ago. It is the home away from home that services students in grades K-8. The school contains 6 classrooms, a computer lab, a library, an assembly hall, gymnasium, playground, administrative office, and kitchen. The school also provides an accessible wheelchair ramp to assist with accommodating all learners. Ephesus Junior Academy has a dedicated and experienced staff, an active Home and School Association, community and church support, and caring and committed families. It is committed to providing a safe,
caring, and challenging educational environment that promotes learning andachievement for all students. Ephesus Junior Academy recognizes and celebrates the diverse learning styles, interests, talents, and cultures of our students and strives to offer a rich variety of meaningful learning experiences that will inspire innovative thinkers and confident learners. The curriculum is based on the North American Division of Seventh-Day Adventist Journey to Excellence Standards, United States Common Core States Standards, and the Virginia State Standards of Learning (SOL). Ephesus Junior Academys program is tailored to meet the individual levels of learning for all students. The school offers supplemental technology tools that are integrated into a plan that aims to improve student learning.
